Central Mall is a 26 year old middle market shopping center in the center of the United States where two major highways, I70 and I135 join together to make the heartlands of the Wheat capitol state of Kansas.

Salina Central Mall was constructed in 1986 to open their doors spring of 1987. This brand new shopping center gave Salina a mall that was anchored by Dillard’s, JcPenney and a few years later Sears joined the mall family. Salina Central mall has a mix of specialty stores including Bath & Body, Candyopolis, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Carroll’s Hallmark, Cato, Christopher & Banks, CJ Banks, Claire’s, Coach House Gifts, Dollar Wise, Earthbound Trading Co., Express Your Cell, Maurice’s, Vanity, Radio Shack, Rue 21, The Buckle, plus several more great merchants. Central Mall is also the home of some great food options like Carlos O’Kelly’s, which is a 6,500 sq ft restaurant with some other small food vendors in the food court such as Pretzelmaker, TCBY/Blimpie’s, Imperial Garden, Taco Johns and the Great American Cookie Company.

Central Mall has a total GLA of 440,576 square feet; of which 193,258 square feet are specialty stores. 247,318 square feet make up our anchor stores of which include the newest addition to the Central Mall, Goody’s was added in 2005.

Central Mall is located at 2259 S. 9th on a very busy intersection, corner of 9th street and Magnolia Street. This intersection starts the area of the town that becomes the shopping district for the city of Salina.

Central Mall is an enclosed single level, middle market, shopping mall that sits on 97 acres with plenty of room for expansion. Central Mall has 2696 parking spaces to provide convenient access to one of four main entrees of the mall.
